Data Sources and Update Policy

Fixtures, host cities, stadiums, squads and team reference data are stored locally where the information is stable enough to avoid unnecessary API calls. Static data is reviewed when official tournament details change.

Football-Data is used for World Cup fixture and result information where available. Finished match results can update after the provider publishes final scores.

Highlightly is used for live match-centre information and video highlights when coverage is available for the competition.

NewsAPI powers the news pages. Articles are requested in the selected language when supported, and Korean/Japanese pages filter results to avoid showing the wrong language.

This site is independent and not affiliated with FIFA. Match data, lineups, videos and news can be delayed or corrected by third-party providers.
